Dos Estados Unidos, uma carta com um selo da famosa série de super-heróis (no caso, Elektra) e o selo triangular sobre os 400 anos do estabelecimento da cidade de Jamestown. One stamp (Elektra) from the famous super hero set and another celebrating the 400th birthday of the settlement of Jamestown, on a cover from the United States.

Do Japão. Eu acho que o selo a esquerda é sobre o jogo rugby e é proviniente da prefeitura de Akita. Já o da direita é um selo normal japonês :) A página da internet, abaixo, mostra o nome em japonês de todas as 47 prefeituras que também emitem selos nesse país.

From Japan. I think the stamp on the left is about rugby and from Akita prefecture, the one on the right, I think is a normal japanese stamp :) The site, below, shows the name, in japanese, of the 47 prefectures of the country that also issue stamps.

Cotard me enviou esta carta da França. Os selos são sobre o cientista francês Jean-Baptiste Charcot e o seu navio de pesquisa o Pourquoi-Pas?, ele foi o primeiro explorador a alcançar a costa oeste da Groenlândia, por isso, os selos também são uma emissão conjunta com a Groenlândia.
Cotard sent me this cover from France. The stamps are about the french polar scientist Jean-Baptiste Charcot and his vessel Pourquoi-Pas?, he was the first to reach the eastern coast of Greenland. The stamps are also a joint issue with Greenland.

Hoje, recebi este grande envelope com várias peças filatélicas chinesas, todas muito interessantes (vou mostrá-las em um futuro próximo). Quem me enviou esta carta foi Zhou Fan http://52sc.blogspot.com/, da R.P. China. Postando o envelope, uma folha sobre os trabalhos de contenção da água e de energia elétrica que estão sendo realizados no rio Amarelo.
Today, I received this big envelope crowdy with many interesting chinese covers and postcards(I'll show them in the future), sent by Zhou Fan http://52sc.blogspot.com/, from P.R. China. The sheet, on the cover, is about the water-control and hydroelectricity works on the Yellow river.

Maurício

As ilhas Maurício são conhecidas pelas suas águas claras onde é possível a prática do mergulho. Os selos da carta, abaixo, mostra-nos um pouco da rica vida submarina desse país.Mauritius is known for its brigths waters where is possible to practice scuba diving. The stamps of the cover I recently received from Mauritius, shows its rich submarine life.

Eslovênia

Recebi uma carta, há muito tempo, da Eslovênia (obrigado Bob), com bonitos selos sobre os costumes, a flora e a mitologia eslovena, além de um selo sobre a Cruz Vermelha (que entrou para a coleção!). Interessante notar como é comum os países da Europa Central e do Leste lançarem selos sobre a Cruz Vermelha (a sede brasileira dessa organização completará 100 anos, em 2008, e, pelo visto, não teremos nenhum selo celebrando a data). Carimbo da capital eslovena, Liubliana.

Cover received sometime ago from Slovenia (thank you Bob, I hope you have already received the cover I sent you), with beautiful stamps about their costumes, flowers and mitology, also a great Red Cross stamp. Interesting to note that Central and Eastern european countries issue regularly Red Cross stamps. Postmark of Ljubljana, Slovenia's capital city.

Portugal

Belo envelope com dois selos da série portuguesa "A Herança das Américas". Na carta estão o jacarandá e o cacau, mas a série completa apresenta desenhos antigos do maracujá, do milho, da batata e do peru. Obrigado, Paula.
Beautiful envelope from Portugal with two stamps of the "Heritage of the Americas" set, the jacarandá tree and the cacoa fruit. The complete set also depicts old drawings of the passion fruit, the corn, the potato and the turkey.

Há muito tempo coleciono selos das Nações Unidas, mas ontem recebi a primeira carta postada, da sua sede em Nova Iorque, para mim. Thank you, Yan Wu http://miniart-oncover.blogspot.com/. O selo e o carimbo comemoram o cinqüentenário do início da corrida espacial.
I've been collecting United Nations stamps for many years, but yesterday, I received the first cover sent to me from its HQ, at New York. Thank you, Yan Wu http://miniart-oncover.blogspot.com/. The stamp and the postmark celebrates the 50th anniversary of the space age.

España

Envelope da Espanha (muchas gracias, Guillermo http://worldwidecovers.blogspot.com/) com um bloco sobre a cultura helênica na região do mar Mediterrâneo. Esses selos fazem parte de uma emissão conjunta entre Espanha e Grécia.

Taiwan

Depois muitas medalhas de ouro no mundial de judô (promessas para as Olímpiadas de Pequim), de volta aos selos: uma carta de Taiwan (obrigado George, http://gulfmanncollection.blogspot.com/ ) com selos homenageando a arquitetura budista desta ilha. Interessante notar que Taiwan não mais utiliza nas suas emissões o termo Republic of China, República da China.
After many judo gold medals (future Olympic gold medals for Brazil), back to stamps: a great cover from Taiwan (thank you George, http://gulfmanncollection.blogspot.com/ ) the stamps are celebrating the Buddhist architecture of the island. Intereting to note that Taiwan is not using Republic of China, on their stamps.
