World Refugee Day / Dia Mundial do Refugiado

On 20 June 2001, in recognition of the 50th anniversary of the 1951 Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees, it was established that every year the 20th of June would be a day to honour the refugees from around the world. This year the World Refugee Day theme is: Together we heal, learn and shine.

Em 20 de junho de 2001, em reconhecimento pelo cinquentenário da Convenção das Nações Unidas relativa ao Estatuto dos Refugiados de 1951, foi estabelecido que, em todos os anos, o dia 20 de junho seria uma data para lembrar os refugiados. Neste ano, o tema do Dia Mundial dos Refugiados é: Juntos nós curamos, aprendemos e brilhamos.
